Gerald H Ghertner

Gerald Ghertner (1916-1997 served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater and was wounded in the mouth by a German bullet. Gerald served in “A” Company, 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division,. They were part of “Patton’s Troubleshooters”.  General George S. Patton, Jr. was one of the most colorful, successful and big-mouthed military leaders of the Twentieth Century.
