My uncle’s wedding

My mom’s step-sister (for more see this) married Leslie G. Gruber (1921-1977) on 16 February 1947 in St. Francis County, Arkansas. I was very young and very ill at the time and being treated in St Louis Children’s Hospital by Dr. Hartman (sp). A photograph from my baby book in which I am outdoors with Jean in December 1946, leads me to conclude my illness and hospitalization began between December 1946 and February 1947. My mom and dad were shuttling back and forth betwen Nashville and St. Louis by train. Consequently neither Jean nor Lenny Ghertner could attend the wedding.
